Welcome to Stella's By The Lake, Canberra's dog-friendly café! Owned and operated by father and daughter duo, David and Ashlinn Reid, we are proud to offer a warm and friendly café experience. Named in honour of our beloved dog, Stella, we warmly welcome all four-legged friends to join us on our outdoor seating area. We focus on serving simple but delicious food in a relaxed and happy atmosphere. Our all-day breakfast and lunch menu has become a local favourite, featuring dishes like the potato & halloumi stack, and the Tank's breakfast roll, named after one of our cherished dogs. ​ We take pride in our dog-friendly amenities, providing grass mats, water bowls and a range of pup treats to make your furry companions feel right at home. As a testament to our commitment to excellence, we were finalists in the 2021, 2022 & 2023 ACT Restaurant and Catering Awards for best breakfast restaurant and café dining and WINNERS in the 2023 ACT Restaurant and Catering Awards cafe dining category.
