In 2016 the ACT Legislative Assembly became the first parliament in Australia to have a majority of women. It’s also the only Australian parliament responsible for both territory and local government functions. We’ll share information here about what’s happening so you can participate in the issues that affect you: write a submission for a committee inquiry, visit the chamber on a sitting day, watch proceedings online, or start or sign a petition.
